With Labor Day behind us the campaigns get more intense,
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

But the Presidential season has seldom made less sense.
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Republicans are bickering, Obama’s back is to the wall,
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Huckabee leads the Gallup, and he’s not in the race at all!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

– <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

European stock markets have gone into the dumps,
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Based mostly on the U.S. unemployment slump.
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Now in addition to our recovery and our job goals to pursue,
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Apparently we have to worry about rescuing Europe too.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

– <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

College football is back again to amuse and entertain,
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

And most of the top teams did well, except for Notre Dame.
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

TCU lost a close game, with Baylor scoring late,
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

And the reigning\u00a0champs, the Auburn Tigers nearly lost to Utah State<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The annual MDA Telethon carried on with Jerry gone,
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Nigel Lithgoe and some beauties capably carried on.
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

They raised $61M in six hours, more than in past years,
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Looks like people are willing to pay not <\/em>to have Jerry appear.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
